We're looking to make our first Growth hire at Draftboard! 

This is a critical role that's entirely focused on acquiring / increasing the supply of new Scouts (aka Referrers - people who will source & refer great candidates to jobs listed on Draftboard). And note: this role will require grit and getting your hands dirty because you'll be building up this function from scratch. 

 

We've identified a handful of personas who we think are the highest value Scouts right now (and from which we already have over 650 Scouts), but you will be free to test, iterate and explore new persona types as you see fit. 

Are these future Scouts on Reddit? Discord? In Slack or WhatsApp groups? Twitter? 

Are they in groups/channels/threads whose core topic is hiring? Referrals? Tips for job seekers? 

Do they run existing communities? Do they have newsletters that reach thousands of people? Do they have an existing job board solution right now that isn't working for them?

This role is interesting - for the right person - because it requires a combination of online community fluency, marketing, social media savvy and sales.
