You will be part of the engineering team at ATC, where your main focus will be to enhance our search capabilities and to develop the architecture and APIs for an enterprise-level collaborative workspace. Our product's mission is to expedite the land use approval process by providing our customers streamlined access to critical information and sophisticated workflow tools. We're a first-mover addressing the most critical part of the real estate development process, and we're backed by world-class investors at Menlo Ventures, MetaProp and Expa.

Responsibilities

• Work with product and engineering peers to design, build and deliver a best-in-class document search and text generation platform
• Own the architecture and implementation of our expanded search capabilities - leveraging latest language models and database solutions
• Maintain and improve APIs serving our customer-facing web application
• Design and build backend supporting an enterprise-focused, collaborative workspace

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production-level experience in software engineering - ideally with some experience at an early-stage startup
• Prior experience working on enterprise systems: SAML, SCIM, and access control mechanisms
• Facility with most of our current tech stack: TypeScript, Node.js, OpenSearch, React, Python, Postgres and AWS
• Familiarity with latest language models and supporting databases - preferably with experience either professionally or personal side projects
• Track record of entrepreneurship, open-source contribution or material side projects
• Based in NYC and able to work in person most days of the week
